越南旅游新宣传口号 Vietnam - The hidden charm
Vietnam - The hidden charm 已经被越南旅游总局选为越南旅游业新的口号。一个持续了4个月的有奖征集活动后,组织部门受到了超过来自968位设计者的1194份作品,包括814个口号和380件图标。参赛者有在校中小学生/少先队员/大学学生/语言学家/设计师/还有来自越南国内和外国的游客。


 
 
“Vietnam – The hidden charm” has been selected as the new slogan and symbol of the Vietnamese tourism sector by the Vietnam National Administration for Tourism.
After more than four months’ launching a competition on designing the slogan and symbol, the organising board received more than 1,194 entries by 968 designers, including 814 slogans and 380 symbols.

Competitors included schoolchildren, pensioners, university students, linguists, artists and Vietnamese and foreign tourists.

The competition also attracted a large number of advertising companies. Entries were closely selected by a 23-member jury, including officials from the Vietnam National Administration for Tourism; and representatives from northern, central and southern tourism departments, travel companies and Vietnam Artists’ Association.

The first prize went to the work “Vietnam – The hidden charm” by Dat Viet Advertisement Company. The organising board also presented two second prizes and other awards.

It is said that the new slogan and symbol is both unique and modern and reflects traditional cultural identity of Vietnam. The winning slogan and symbol was designed in a professional manner.
新的标志和宣传口号不仅独特而且富有现代感,反映了越南独特的传统文化。获奖设计非常符合专业要求。

It was written in a succinct and impressive style which is easily promoted on mass media and tourist products. The image of lotus bud is stylised in the word “Vietnam”, symbolising simplicity, nobility and vitality which is close to the Vietnamese people’s culture.

作品非常简洁,但寓意深刻,可以方便在大众传媒和旅游产品中推广。荷花的图案被越南这个文字融合在一起,象征单纯/高贵/充满生命力,和越南文化相类似。

The font style is combined between a hanging stroke of Chinese characters calligraphy and soft curved stroke of Vietnamese script, inspiring tourists to discover the land with hidden wonders.

The new slogan and symbol will be used in tourism promotion programmes domestically and internationally, Vo Thi Thang, head of the national administration for tourism said at the award presentation ceremony.

The administration is expected to launch the first promotion with the new symbol throughout the country at the end of the year. In early 2006, Vietnam will introduce the design at ASEAN tourism conference due to take place in the Philippines and an international tourist fair in Berlin, Germany.

The administration also plans to promote Vietnam travel with its new slogan and symbol on major international TV channels in 2006, said Ms Thang.
